What is Zorock
Decorative Stone? Zorock is a 100% recycled, man made stone. The recycled aggregate is
processed and colored in a completely automated system.
Are the colorants used environmentally safe? Zorock
Decorative Stone uses all environmentally safe colorants. Our
colorants are derived from naturally occurring pigments. They are specially
formulated to be completely non-toxic to children, animals and plants.
Will Zorock attract termites and insects ?
No, actually pest-control companies have been recommending Zorock near your
home instead of feeding termites with wood mulch.
Will Zorock blow or wash away? Zorock is only available in a 3/4 inch stone, which makes it heavy enough to
not blow or wash away revealing bare spots where weed growth begins.
Will Zorock burn my plants?
Zorock does not absorb heat which can burn plants. Zorock stones
actually aid in plant growth by keeping the ground cool and the moisture
content high.
How does the product come? Zorock
Decorative Stone is available in 3/4 inch stone. They are packaged in
clear, 1/2 cubic foot bags, each weighing approximately 50lbs.
How should I spread my Zorock
?
The stones you receive may not be dry due to stockpiling. It is best to
spread the stones on a dry and sunny day, when rain is not imminent. Allow
24 hours for colorants to dry completely. After the stones have completely
dried, we recommend applying a layer or concrete or brick sealer to the
stones to protect then from the elements. To prolong the life of your
Zorock , apply this sealer annually or as needed.
